Montessori
Mahila Kalasala takes its origin in a
small school started in 1955. "Montessori"
has grown and development into what it
is today a large educational complex imparting
value oriented, need based and socially
relevant quality education to girls from
nursery level to post graduation and professional
levels. Education, we firmly believe,
is a social responsibility with the twin
objectives of shaping the character and
personality of the students and moulding

responsible citizens on one hand, and equipping
them with the latest knowledge and information
which enables them to face the challenges of life
with confidence and courage on the other. Education
is an effective means of healthy social change. |

Realising
the need for providing exclusive opportunities
to girls, particularly those hailing from middle,
lower middle,poorer society. To pursue higher
education, we started Montessori Mahila Kalasala
in 1972 which now offers 9 different job oriented
innovative programmes at the UG level and 8 at
the PG level. The Post Graduate section, started
in 1986 offers Master`s Degree courses in Business
Administration, Computer Application, Microbology,
Biochemistry, Computer Science, Information systems,
Mathematics and Biotechnology and has been achieving
excellent results with almost all the students
passing in 1st class and a large number of students
securing distinctions every year. The Departments
of Microbiology and Biochemistry have been recognised
by Acharya Nagarjuna University as Research centers
and the senior faculty have been guiding research
leading to M.Phill and Ph.D. |

| Montessori
Mahila College of Education has been imparting quality
teaching training for about 24 years now. We have
also been running a College of Physiotherapy since
1999-2000. We have started a College of Pharmacy
during the 2007-08 academic year and we are starting
a College of Engineering during the next academic
year. Beside the above Under Graduate, Post graduate
and Professional degree courses, we have been running
a number of job oriented and need based Diploma
and PG Diploma courses of wide range. |

Mahila Kalasala has been accredited by the NAAC
at "B" level and has been functioning
as Autonomous college since 2005-06. |

| Accreditation
by NAAC and appreciative words of peer team and
conferment of Autonomous status by the UGC have
given us fresh encouragement and inspiration to
continue our dedicated endeavour with greater zeal. |

| It
is our earnest endeavour to shape Montessori into
an ideal center of higher learning and research
for women and reach our long cherished goal of achieving
Deemed University Status. We are marching forward
to reach our goals. |
